Poets Corner Poetry Reading
In August 2020, as part of the Poets Corner Reading Series (https://poetscorner.ca/), HARC Research Director Sarah de Leeuw gave a virtual public poetry reading to an audience of more than forty people. The reading was also an opportunity for the national audience to learn more about the role of poetics, humanities, and narrative medicine and health. The evening included poems both from de Leeuw’s last book of poetry (Outside, America - https://49thshelf.com/Books/O/Outside-America) and from a manuscript she is currently working on, tentatively titled “Lot,” about British Columbian coloniality and her growing up on Haida Gwaii.
