Be/Cause You Care Box – Pilot Project Success

The Be/Cause You Care Box Pilot Project is coming to a close after one year. We sent out 123 subscriptions and received 19 evaluations. We presented on the project at UNBC Research Week and at the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing conference in Newfoundland. The Be/Cause You Care Box was very well received project.

Thank you so much for the Be/Cause You Care subscription box. I am deeply moved by all of its contents. As a nurse that has taken countless courses about cultural safety I must say this boxes contents had an incredible impact on me. I engaged with the contents exploring all the links, activities, printed materials, crafts, and I just had beautiful breakfast of jam on toast! I used my creative brain, my taste buds, read, and watched videos. I had an experience…I connected. I learned today…I learned about myself.
