In the Meantime explores the idea of time and sound within open wilderness. Based on a poem (Lot) by Sarah de Leeuw, the text covers rhythmic patterns and repetition in nature, while exploring the many characters of wind. From the idea of stormy billows, still tidal time on a shore, or the whispers that echo through the trees…in the meantime the mean wind blows.

Premiered in Whitehorse, Yukon, at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre in May, 2026.
