Our Children Our Way Conference

Research Manager Marion Erickson will be presenting at the Our Children Our Way Conference. By addressing various aspects of practice, policy, community healing, operational development, and jurisdictional pathways, the conference seeks to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Indigenous child and family services across the country. Research Manager Marion Erickson will be presenting her research entitled “Dakelh Midwifery Past and Present” which will inform participants about the benefits of having doula assisted births and aims to invigorate conversations about including doula care in service plans for Indigenous communities.
