HARC is pleased to be supporting this fantastic research project entitled: Indigenous Women and Gender Diverse People and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).

The research team is seeking one-on-one interviews with Indigenous women and gender diverse people living in northern BC, Yukon and NWT about how digital technologies can be used to support a thriving north. They’re project asksĀ how digital technologies are already being used in communities to support health, wellness, community safety & financial independence? What else is needed? Together we’ll envision possibilities that will be used to develop a skill-sharing workshop series.

Interviews will be up to 30min by phone and participants will be paid a $30 honorarium for their time. Please contact the project coordinator nicole.schafenacker@gmail.com to set up an interview or for more information.
