Léa Andréoléty
Léa Andréoléty is Ph.D. student at Grenoble Alpes University, France. She completed a Master in Performing Arts in 2019 and a social work degree in 2018. After studying community performance at Trinity College, Ireland and working at the children’s hospital as a social worker (Grenoble University Hospital), she decided to couple her studies and pursue both performance studies and social work at the University of Grenoble. Her doctorate under the supervision of Pauline Bouchet and Gretchen Schiller concerns the nurse’s body, an underdeveloped research area in both health and performance studies. The goal of this work is to develop, through a research-action, a training within the nurse’s program education (Institut de Formation en Soins Infirmiers, CHU de Grenoble). Nurse students are exploring technical health gestures, care relationship and bodily contact within nursing care, through experiential and embodied learning.
