Northern Storytelling in a Pandemic
During COVID-times, some of HARC’s work with healthcare professionals has had to pivot in new and innovative ways. In late September, Dr. Sarah de Leeuw was honoured to co-facilitate a story-based event for a myriad of healthcare professionals in northern BC to explore the impacts of a global pandemic at personal and community-based levels. Attended by more than 25 participants, the workshop was a resounding success and has spurred further discussions about the importance of humanities-work (like storytelling) for clinical professionals.
